<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a high cleanness steel which is further improved in cold-workability or fatigue characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: This producing method comprises adding Li-Si alloy having 20-40% Li content and/or Li<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>as Li-containing material into molten steel and more specifically, after completing one series of the molten steel treatment for component adjustment, a temperature adjustment and a slag refining, the Li-containing material is added into the molten steel and thus, the molten steel is controlled so that the total Li content in the steel is 0.020-20 ppm (mass basis) and oxide-based inclusion having≥20μm long diameter becomes≤1.0 piece per 50g steel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
