<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for restraining the elution of fluorine from electric furnace slag generated in an electric furnace. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for melting and refining steel, performing the melting and the oxidize-refining in the electric furnace and performing the reduce-refining in a ladle, when the molten steel tapped-off accompanied with a fixed quantity of oxidized slag, is transformed into the ladle after oxidize-refining in the electric furnace, this method for restraining the elution of the fluorine in the electric furnace slag, is composed of; a first mixing process, in which the whole reduced slag and remained molten steel, remaining after tapping the molten steel of the preceding heat in the ladle from the ladle into a tundish, is mixed with oxidized slag produced in the preceding heat in the electric furnace, at the preceding heat in the electric furnace; and a second mixing process, in which the whole reduced slag and remained molten steel of the mixed slag produced in the preceding heat in the ladle, is mixed with the oxidized slag produced in the practical heat in the electric furnace, at the practical heat in the electric furnace. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
