<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce burden on a person in charge of entrance management by allowing even a first-time visitor to be admitted only by simple collation. <P>SOLUTION: An entrance managing device comprises an input part 11 for inputting a telephone number; a calling part 18 for calling a portable telephone set 30, based on the inputted telephone number; an incoming call detecting part 19 for detecting the incoming call of the portable telephone set 30: and a door control part 17 for controlling a door for entrance. When the visitor inputs the telephone number of his/her portable telephone set 30 by the input part 11, the calling part 18 calls the portable telephone set 30.
