PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more surely prevent data loss in data migration of a storing part that is a separation target regarding a data migration method, a storage device and a program. SOLUTION: The data migration method is provided for migrating data stored in a first storing part that is a separation target in a storage device to a second storing part, wherein all data stored in a data area unit in the first storing part are migrated to the second storing part, and for a data area where data migration is not successful, redundant data is migrated from a third storing part that has the redundant data with the first storing part to the second storing part.
