PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control which can be mounted in an ordinary attitude without the use of a screw etc. SOLUTION: This remote control 1 is equipped with an almost rectangular panel-shaped remote control body 2, and engaging bodies 4L and 4R which are to be engaged with a towel ring 20 and which are each arranged in both the left and right lateral sides of the remote control body 2. The remote control 1 is arranged inside the towel ring 20 in the state of positioning an operation surface on a front side, and the left and right engaging bodies 4L and 4R are each engaged with the towel ring 20, so that the remote control 1 can be held by the towel ring 20.
