PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine which keeps the interests of the players in the games from diminishing by compensating the careless loss in the result of the winning display determined to permit the derivation. SOLUTION: The rotation of the reels 3L, 3C and 3R is stopped within the maximum range of 190 ms from the operation of the corresponding stop button, while the symbols can be drawn up to the four frames from those on display at the time of the stoppage operation. When the win flag is set for the minor winning combination of 'WATER MELON', the stopping of the reels 3L and 3C ahead would make the symbol of 'WATER MELON' line up on the valid line. In this case, when the corresponding stop button should be operated when the first 'RED' is positioned on the valid line with respect to the reel 3R, the drawing of the 'WATER MELON' onto the valid line could fail.
