PROCESS FOR PRODUCING POROUS SINTER, POROUS-SINTER MOLDING MATERIAL, AND POROUS SINTER

A process for producing a porous sinter which comprises: a molding step (S102) in which a sinter molding material comprising a binder, a sinterable powder material, and a pore-forming material is molded into a given shape; degreasing steps (S103), (S104), and (S105) in which the binder is removed from the molding obtained in the molding step; and a sintering step (S108) in which the degreased molding which has undergone the degreasing steps is sintered to form a sinter, wherein the binder comprises an ingredient which disappears at a higher temperature than the pore-forming material and in these degreasing steps, the pore-forming material is eliminated while keeping part of the binder remaining. Thus, a porous sinter can be produced which has a high porosity and is high in shape and dimensional accuracy. The porous sinter can have a function which has not been possessed by conventional porous sinters.
