The backrest (2) of the car seat (1) is fitted with a headrest (11) attached to two bars (12, 13) and two lateral elements (7, 8) supporting the head of the occupant from both sides. The elements (7, 8) are of a comparatively flat shape, have a curved front surface and two straight surfaces meeting in an obtuse angle. When the elements (7, 8) are not used they can be stored in recesses (5, 6) of a complementary shape at the backrest (2) after they have been rotated around short transversal axles (14, 15). |
