FIELD: abrasive working processes and equipment, possibly grinding by means of abrasive wheel with axially shifted cutting layer at supplying cutting fluid. ^ SUBSTANCE: cutting fluid is supplied through nozzles in cone washer-funnels having inclined blades on their inner surface onto ends of wheel with axially shifted cutting layer. Wheel includes boss and sine disc with peripheral axially shifted cutting layer formed according to condition for creating radial end recesses and protrusions arranged by staggered fashion on wheel ends. Cone washer-funnels have opening in base of their cones for feeding cutting fluid to ends of wheel. Openings of washer-funnels are matched with wheel radial end recesses whose values in axial direction of wheel are equal to height half of wheel along protrusions. In description of invention formula is given for calculating number of end protrusions depending upon temperature decrease. Invention provides oriented supply of cutting fluid by sprinkling, enhanced condition for removing slime out of cutting zone, more low temperature of blank. ^ EFFECT: enhanced quality and efficiency of working, lowered probability for occurring burning and micro-cracking. ^ 4 dwg, 2 tbl, 2 ex |
