<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage the reproduction frequency of contents for synchronizing an information processor with a portable terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A PC as an information processor is provided with: a Master DB103C for managing the reproduction frequency of contents data 103A; and a PCSync DB103B for maintaining the reproduction frequency of contents data each time contents data are transmitted between the PC and a portable device(PD) as a portable terminal. The PD is provided with a PDSyncDB215B for managing the reproduction frequency of contents data 215A stored in the PD. When the contents data are transmitted, the reproduction frequency of the contents data since the previous transmission until this time transmission is detected by comparing the PCSyncDB103B with the PDSyncDB215B, and the detected reproduction frequency is reflected on the MasterDB103C, and the PCSyncDB103B is updated using the updated MaserDB103C, and the PDSyncDB215B is updated using the PCSyncDB103B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
