<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that it is troublesome to change configurations of access rights if users to be permitted for referring for every document data are limited for quite a lot of users or changes of users to be provided with access rights are performed frequently in a system that document data is stored and managed in a server and is referred from document data terminal devices through a network. <P>SOLUTION: If document data is requested to be displayed, this method determines necessity to transmit a warning message depending on whether or not the number of times for receiving display requests for the document data and the number of times for receiving display requests for document data most requested to be displayed satisfy specified conditions.
