<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar device mountable in a space having a short depth length between a car body and a bumper, and capable of switching the beam width corresponding to the traveling state of a mounted vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A radar module 1a detects an obstacle around the vehicle by a radiated radar beam, and the radiated radar beam is refracted corresponding to the interference surface of a dielectric lens part 2a. A moving mechanism 3a is subjected to operation control by a control part 4a corresponding to the traveling state of the vehicle, and allows any one of a plurality of lens parts carried by the dielectric lens part 2a to agree selectively with the radar beam radiated from the radar module 1a, by moving it vertically to the emission direction wherein the radar module 1a is radiated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
