PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speech decoding device capable of decoding and reproducing a plurality of compressed speech streams without any sound break even when the number of samples per frame is different. SOLUTION: The speech decoding device is equipped with 1st and 2nd speech decoders 11 and 15 which decode two inputted compressed speech streams and output speech data respectively, 1st and 2nd speech output buffers 12 and 16 which temporarily hold the outputted speech data, 1st and 2nd speech output sections 14 and 18 which convert the speech data into speech signals and output them, and an output control section 19 which reads the speech data out of 1st and 2nd intermediate buffers 12 and 16 and transfer them to the 1st and 2nd speech output sections 14 and 18. The output control section 19 reads speech data of samples as many as each other or samples of the same transfer time out of the 1st and 2nd intermediate buffers 12 and 16 and transfers them to the 1st and 2nd speech output sections 14 and 18 repeatedly.
