PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a user, in particular, an aged person is hard to find a switch to press among many switches on a remote controller because a sanitary washing device using a remote controller as a means for controlling functions is provided with a large number of switches on the remote controller due to increase in the functions of the sanitary washing device. SOLUTION: The remote control unit is constituted by connecting a main remote controller 1 including a transmission section 3 for transmitting a signal to the sanitary washing device 15 and a main switch 2 for operating highly frequently used main functions of the sanitary washing device and a sub-remote controller 7 including a sub-switch 8 for operating lowly frequently used application functions of the sanitary washing device with each other. Thus, if the sub-remote controller 7 is removed from the remote control unit, a remote control signal can be transmitted to the sanitary washing device 15 by the main switch 2 of the main remote controller 1.
