<p>A method for inhibiting contamination of flowable foodstuffs (A) by parts of seals, starting material packaging or packaging for (A), where (A) are produced (optionally in systems including seals and/or using packaged starting materials) then filled into packages, involves: (a) providing the seals or packaging with contact-free detectable label(s) (I); (b) passing (A), in the form of a flowing, pre-packaging stream or a package containing (A), over a detector for (I); and (c) removing any detected contaminating components. Independent claims are included for a seal for a food production plant, packaging for starting materials for production of (A) and packaging units (specifically bags, containers, bottles or glasses) for filling with (A) in a production plant, all provided with a label (I) containing at least one material detectable by X-ray radiation or an electromagnetic field.</p> |
