<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a credit line calculation method and a credit line calculation system for calculating a credit line in association with a deposit result of accounts receivable without periodically reporting details of the accounts receivable and allowing acceptance of accounts receivable, to which a nonnegotiable special contract and the like is attached, as a target. <P>SOLUTION: Transfer information asked by a customer via an ATM 20 or an EB system 12 is written in account information for a deposit account at a loan customer of an account file 13. A credit line calculation system 14 is actuated in predetermined timing such as once a month to carry out processing for calculating a credit line for the loan customer. In calculation of the credit line, deposit information for the deposit account of the loan customer is read from the account file 13 for calculating a deposit total sum during an objective term. The total sum is calculated for each transfer requester, and if the total sum exceeds a predetermined rate, it is determined as a special deposit and an upper limit amount is adjusted.
