<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of the lengthening of a writing period and power shutdown during writing operation by performing writing as much as possible in one and the same page. <P>SOLUTION: When writing occurs in a plurality of logical addresses, an empty page is searched and data are written in the empty page as much as possible. As a result, the number of writing pages is reduced to thereby reduce a writing period. Furthermore, when writing of the number of bytes which is too large for one and the same page has to be performed, the writing is performed in the next empty page.
