<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aromatic polycarbonate resin composition having desired wavelength dispersion characteristics, a high level of transparency and excellent melting processability and to provide a retardation film composed of the resin composition. <P>SOLUTION: The aromatic polycarbonate resin composition is obtained by compounding (A) 100 pts. wt. of an aromatic polycarbonate copolymer composed of a repeating unit (A1) represented by general formula [1] [wherein, R<SP>1</SP>to R<SP>4</SP>are each independently a hydrogen atom, a hydrocarbon group which may contain a 1-9C aromatic group or a halogen atom] and a repeating unit (A2) represented by general formula [2] [wherein, R<SP>5</SP>to R<SP>8</SP>are each independently a hydrogen atom, a hydrocarbon group which may contain a 1-9C aromatic group or a halogen atom; and W is a single bond, a hydrocarbon group which may contain a 1-20C aromatic group, an O, an S, an SO, an SO<SB>2</SB>, a CO or a COO group] in a ratio (A1):(A2) of the unit (A1) to the unit (A2) within the range of (5:95) to (95:5) expressed in terms of molar ratio with (B) 1-90 pts. wt. of a polyether-ester resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
