<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a domestic appliance for preparing porridge by which cooking is easily executed and cooking time can be shortened. <P>SOLUTION: This domestic appliance for preparing porridge is equipped with a vessel part 300 with a vessel grip 306, a drive part 100, a motor with pulverizing cutters on the end part of a rotation shaft, a heater, and a drive part 100 with a control part to control the motor and the heater. A ring shape insertion groove in which the upper part of the vessel part 300 is inserted and fixed is formed on the outer periphery face of the lower face of the drive part 100. A ring shape insertion projection to be inserted in the insertion groove is formed on the upper face of the vessel part 300.
