PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a communication controller of fanless specifications also to unmanned equipment by providing proof strength to raise of ambient temperature, etc. SOLUTION: The communication controller has a temperature sensor 210 which detects temperature of a microprocessor 110, an edge detection circuit 220 which detects that the detected temperature exceeds set temperature T°C and becomes less than the set temperature T°C, a timer circuit 230 which detects elapse of fixed time t1 and t2 from these points of time of detection and an interruption circuit 240 which performs interruption for reducing processing speed of the microprocessor after t1 and performing an interruption processing for restoring the processing speed to an initial state after t2. The communication controller also includes further gradual reduction of power consumption by time up of a third timer circuit and transmission of "system level urgent abnormality notification" to the opposite station of the communication controller by time up of a fourth timer circuit.
