PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein, when pulse density demodulation is executed by calculating an OR of an FM modulation signal and a delay signal of an in-phase FM modulation pulse signal, a high-speed device is required for a logic calculation circuit in order to use a detection pulse having a narrow pulse width in the logic calculation circuit, and the detection pulse depends on a frequency. SOLUTION: The FM demodulator is provided with: an FM modulation signal input terminal for inputting the FM modulation pulse signal; a signal delay circuit which outputs the FM modulation pulse signal from the FM modulation signal input terminal as an FM modulation pulse delay signal by delaying it by a fixed time; a signal OR circuit which outputs the OR of the FM modulation pulse signal from the FM modulation signal input terminal and the FM modulation pulse delay signal from the signal delay circuit as an output OR signal; and an FM demodulation signal output terminal for outputting the output OR signal of the signal OR circuit.
