PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate for distortion with higher accuracy by controlling amount of calculations. SOLUTION: The signal for predistortion is generated with a convolutional arithmetic unit 104 and a vector adjusting unit 105, and the signal for predistortion is limited within the band to be converted with inverse Fourier conversion method within a selecting unit 106 and is then superimposed previously in the transmitting signal. An amplifying unit 113 generates the signal distorted with non-linearity but the distorted signal is canceled within the band to be converted with inverse Fourier conversion method, because the signal for predistortion is superimposed on the input signal of the amplifying unit 113. Moreover, the distorted signal outside the range exceeding the bandwidth to be converted with the inverse Fourier conversion method is eliminated by applying the signal to a bandpass filter 114 having the pass band narrower than the frequency band to be converted largely with the inverse Fourier conversion method than the signal frequency band.
