PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance security for content data regarding an information processing device and a method, and a program. A metadata update part 276 updates the metadata in accordance with the destructive editing of the audio data. A proxy data editing part 277 performs the destructive editing of the proxy data in accordance with the destructive editing of the audio data. When the data of a non-audio attribute is included in the destructive edited audio data, an edit point editing part 278 performs the destructive editing of the edit point of the audio data once again, invalidates image effect applied to a joining part for a clip, and converts all of the joints into simple cut transitions.
