PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sink which utilizes a mother board attached to an existing device capable of mounting the protective cover of a CPU contact pin. SOLUTION: The heat sink is provided with a bottom 21, a plurality of fin sections 22 disposed at the bottom 21 and a pinching section 23 which is extended from a part of a plurality of the fin sections and has a recess 231 for pinching the protective cover of the CPU contact pin disposed at the top of a plurality of the fin sections.
