摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light beam detecting apparatus capable of detecting an optical path position for an invisible ray such as an infrared ray, capable of reducing a size and a weight as the whole detector, and capable of widening a degree of freedom in selection of a using wavelength. SOLUTION: An infrared detecting apparatus is provided with a glass light guide 3 projected from a body part, and a driving means for reciprocating the light guide in an X-axis direction, while vibrating the light guide in a Y-axis direction. A visible light emitting means is provided to emit visible light from a light-emitting diode 54, when the infrared light is incident on a tip part 3a of the light guide and is propagated by the light guide, to be incident on a light-receiving element 53, and to propagate the visible light by the light guide to be emitted from the tip part thereof. The visible light emitting means is provided with an optical system 50. The optical system directly couples the infrared light propagated through the light guide and emitted from a base end part 3b to a light-receiving face 53a of the light-receiving element, and reflects the visible light emitted from the light-emitting diode 54 on the light-receiving face 53a to be coupled to the base end part 3b.
