PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide carbon nanotubes on which fine particles are supported, which are characterized in that they are grown on a flat surface and the fine particles are supported on their surfaces. SOLUTION: The size of the fine particles generated in a fine particle-generating section 2 is sorted by a fine particle size sorting section 3. Thereafter, the fine particles are blown together with a carrier gas onto a substrate 5, which has the carbon nanotubes and is provided in a chamber 6 for supporting the fine particles on the carbon nanotubes, from a nozzle 7. When the fine particles are blown, the Stokes number is controlled according to fine particles to be supported.
