PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet printer capable of suppressing the lowering of image quality due to crazing by properly setting the insertion angle of a printed body into a roller carrying mechanism for changing the carrying direction of the printed body. SOLUTION: This ink jet printer comprises first and second carrying routes R1 and R2 in which two first and second magazines 1A and 1B can be installed and carrying paper from the magazines 1A and 1B, an image forming part forming images by jetting an ink to the paper, and the roller carrying mechanism 3 changing the carrying direction of the paper extracted from the magazines 1A and 1B and feeding it in the direction of the image forming part. The mechanism 3 comprises a drive roller 3a and a pressing roller 3b. A pressing action by the pressing roller 3b is performed so that the rear surface side of the paper can be wound on the drive roller 3a. A converged position G of the first and second carrying routes R1 and R2 is set at a position on the upstream side of the roller carrying mechanism 3 in the carrying direction, and the direction of a shared carrying route R3 after the convergence of the routes is crossed with a straightline connecting the drive roller 3a to the rotating center of the pressing roller 3b.
