PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cordless warming and cooling apparatus by which foods are warmed or cooled simply and safely and are put away quickly even for each meal for a plurality of persons, and which can be used even outdoor where power is not supplied. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with: one or more cordless warming and cooling mats 2 having a plate 4 for heating or cooling foods placed thereon, a Peltier element 6 for heating or cooling the plate 4 from inside and a charging battery 7 for charging power supplied through a connected battery-side charging terminal 8 and for supplying operation current generated based on the charged power to the Peltier element 6; and one or more mat set parts 3 where the respective warming and cooling mats 2 can be mounted.
