The inventive orthopaedic sole (1) comprises a transversal rear element (2) which is provided with lateral elevated wings (2b, 2c) whose shape resembles metatarsal heads and makes it possible to support the foot rear arch, wherein said rear element (2) is elastically deformable at least in the area of the lateral wings (2b, 2c) in such a way that a spring effect for restoring said rear arch after each foot pressure by action/reaction forces is produced. In a preferred embodiment, said rear element (2) comprises a blade (6, 7), in particular made of a metal, extending at least partially along each lateral wing (2b, 2c) for producing a spring effect.
