<p>A magnetic motor axle for magnetically augmenting the propulsion efficiency and duration of a skateboard is disclosed. The magnetic motor axle includes a truck for mounting on a step board of a skateboard. Multiple truck magnets are provided in the truck. An elongated rotor assembly is rotatably mounted in the truck, and multiple rotor magnets are provided on the rotor assembly. As the rotor assembly rotates in the truck, the truck magnets magnetically repel the respective rotor magnets to augment the torque of the rotor assembly. At least one drive wheel is drivingly engaged by the rotor assembly to drive the skateboard on a surface.</p> |
