CONTROLLER OF BRUSHLESS DC MOTOR AND CEILING FAN MOUNTING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the rpm of a brushless DC motor constant exactly in a controller of the motor for use in a ceiling fan.

SOLUTION: The controller of a brushless DC motor comprises an rpm feedback means 110 for comparing predetermined target rpm with rpm detected by an rpm detecting means 109 and delivering a signal for altering a DC voltage 111 being applied to a stator winding 114 depending on the difference of the to a DC voltage altering means 112 thus matching the detected rpm to the target rpm wherein the time interval of a single revolution is measured by the mechanical angle of the brushless DC motor 106 and the rpm is detected by the average value of time interval of single revolution thus attaining exact rpm.
