<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card which assures a sufficient security and does not spoil the usability. <P>SOLUTION: The IC card includes a biometrics section 10 for acquiring biological information, an input/output section 12 for inputting/outputting a signal, and a processing section for switching an enabled state and a disabled state for an application based on the signals from the biometrics section 10 and the input/output section 12.
