<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for editing/reproducing a musical piece comprising the functions of automatic musical piece selection and automatic editing permitting to automatically select a musical piece reflecting listener's sentiment and feelings and smoothly shift from one musical piece halfway to another musical piece without a sense of incongruity. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for editing/reproducing a musical piece comprises a an external information acquiring means 9 for sensing a change in sentiment and feelings of a listener, a musical piece feature information producing means 2 used for automatically selecting a musical piece, a selection means 16 the change in the sentiment and feelings of the listener sensed by the external information acquiring means and for selecting a suitable musical piece from the musical piece feature information, a musical piece analysis means 2 for subdividing musical piece in the direction of time, an editing means 21 for editing the musical piece based on those information, and a reproduction mens 22 for reproducing an acoustic signal obtained from them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
