PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a fluctuation in an output voltage due to an output ripple within a discontinuous operation region by setting an optimal inductance, and supply a low-ripple and high-stability output voltage from a DC-DC converter. SOLUTION: An operation state of the DC-DC converter is detected by detecting a coil current. A multiple of n times of the inductance L of LC filters 4-7 is varied and the optimal inductance is set by turning on/off n switches 11-13 in response to the operation state. The fluctuation in the output voltage due to the output ripple within the discontinuous operation region can be reduced, and the low-ripple and high-stability output voltage can be supplied.
