PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust manifold with improved durability, by increasing bonding strength of a weld. SOLUTION: The exhaust manifold has a plurality of branch pipes 1, 2, 3, and an exhaust manifold container 4 connected with downstream parts of the branch pipes 1, 2, 3. The manifold container 4 is constituted of an upstream member 5 positioned upstream of an exhaust flow and a downstream member 6 positioned downstream of the exhaust flow, which are formed integrally with the manifold container 4. The upstream member 5 has a plurality of connection holes 5a, 5b, 5c connected with the branch pipes 1, 2, 3 in a direction where axes 1a to 3a of the branch pipes 1 to 3 approximately intersect with each other at a predetermined position P1 inside the manifold container 4. Downstream ends of the branch pipes 1, 2, 3 have downstream end contact parts 1b, 2b, 3b each in contact with at least other two branch pipes in the manifold container 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
