PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper difference correction curve calculation device for calculating a paper difference correction curve for realizing preferable matching in the case of observing a reproduction original image and a reproduction target image located side by side. SOLUTION: This paper difference correction curve calculation device comprises a means for preparing a device profile of first and second image output devices, a means for acquiring estimation data, a means for calculating a target white color value of a target having a paper white different from that of each of the first and second image output devices, a means for calculating a target color value from the estimation data by using the target white color value, a means for applying correction curve processing to the estimation data, a means for calculating a destination color value of the estimation data after the application of the correction curve, and a means for obtaining a difference between the target color value and the destination color value and calculating the correction curve for minimizing the difference or making it to be no greater than a reference value.
