PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spindle unit, simplifying a passage of compression fluid for a rotor and an oil mist supply passage. SOLUTION: In this spindle unit, a chuck member holding a tool inserted from the forward end is inserted in a spindle, and the spindle is provided with a rotor, and the spindle unit is rotatably supported in a housing by bearings mounted in the front and in the rear. The housing is provided with an oil mist injection means for spraying oil mist to the rotor to be driven in rotation, and an oil mist discharge passage for guiding the oil mist after spraying to the rotor to be sprayed to the tip of the tool.
