<p>The vehicle (3) module (1) includes two receivers (4, 6) installed at the front, on the right and left hand sides, with baseline separation (A). Their detectors (5, 7) are capable of resolving angles, and their directional properties are aligned to follow the road or traffic lane (8) in the main direction of traffic. A control and analysis unit (11) is connected to the receivers and a power supply (12). A module (2) on the endangered object (20) (e.g. a cyclist), comprises a beam source (21). Its directional characteristic is opposite to the road direction (8), in the sense of traffic movement. An independent claim is included for the corresponding method.</p> |
