LIQUID ATOMIZER

A liquid atomizer comprises a casing (1) with an outlet orifice (7) provided in the end part of the casing, and a liquid flow rate regulator (2). The regulator includes as part a chamber (3) accommodating a sliding piston (4), an axially symmetric fairing (8) located within the outlet orifice (7) of the casing, and a stem (9). The stem (9) is connected at its one side with the fairing (8) and at its other side with the piston (4). The chamber is divided by the piston into two cavities. The first cavity (10) is communicating with the cavity of the casing, through which cavity the liquid is admitted to the outlet orifice. The second cavity (12) functioning as a control cavity is isolated from the cavity of the casing. The fairing comprises a profiled conical or conoid-shaped portion. A cross section of the profiled portion is increasing in the course of flow of the liquid. The apparatus allows the flow rate of the generated dispersed liquid jet to be automatically maintained at a constant level upon changing of the liquid pressure.
