PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage information outputting device of an external storage device for preventing an external storage device such as a USB memory from being left behind while being connected when the external storage device is connected to be releasable, and the storage information of the external device is outputted under the consideration of such actual circumstances. SOLUTION: This storage information outputting device is provided with connecting means 20 to 22 by which a plurality of external storage devices 320 to 322 are connected to be releasable, a storage information reading means 311g for reading the storage information of an external storage devices connected to the connecting means, output means 306, 302 and 303 for outputting the read storage information of the external storage devices, an instructing inputting means 201 for operating the output means, a detecting means 311a for detecting the connection and/or connection release of the external storage devices to the connecting means, a judging means 311b for judging whether or not the external storage devices are connected to the connecting means when an instruction is inputted by an instruction inputting means and a control means 311 for controlling whether to make the output means output the storage information of the external storage means read by the reading means based on the judgement result.
