PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrostatic charge image developing toner and its manufacturing method, wherein a step of removing an organic solvent by distillation is unnecessary and the particle size and particle form are easily controlled. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing an electrostatic charge image developing toner includes: a kneading step of melting and kneading a mixture containing a binder resin and a colorant to produce a resin kneaded material; a pulverizing step of pulverizing the resin kneaded material to produce a resin pulverized material; a dispersion step of dispersing the resin pulverized material in a liquid medium to prepare a dispersion liquid; and a spray-dry step of spray-drying the dispersion liquid while the resin pulverized material is kept at the temperature lower than its softening point, and thereby melting and bonding the resin pulverized material to obtain resin particles.
