PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making an ice tray and an electric operated mechanism part demountable to the outside of a refrigerator and for effectively supplying cold blown out of the rear part of an ice making chamber to the ice tray when an automatic ice maker is arranged with the ice tray in front and an electric operated mechanism therebehind. SOLUTION: In the automatic ice maker, the ice tray is turned in a freezing temperature chamber by the electric operated mechanism 7A, whereby ice in the ice tray falls down. A body member 100 has the electric operated mechanism arranged at the rear part and the ice tray 7B arranged in front thereof, and it is detachably mounted at the upper part of the freezing temperature chamber. In the body member 100, a cold supply passage is bent and arranged passing through the side of the electric operated mechanism toward the side of the ice tray for supplying cold blown out of the rear part of the freezing temperature chamber to the ice tray.
