PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator constructed to prevent the entry of water into a board in an operation device while reducing the leakage of heat from an area where the operation device is arranged. SOLUTION: The board 20 is installed in a heat insulating material for a box body 11 or a door body filled with the foamed heat insulating material. An operation shaft recessed portion of an operation shaft 22b of a variable resistor 22 mounted on the board is formed ranging into the body of the variable resistor 22, and a shaft 24c of an operation tab mounted on the side of an operation panel is journaled to the operation shaft recessed portion.
