PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe connecting device capable of absorbing axial and radial vibration of a pipe to the other pipe, and preventing rupture by bulging by reducing the bulging caused by internal pressure. SOLUTION: One cylindrical thick-wall portion 21 is fitted and fixed to one pipe 11, and the other cylindrical thick-wall portion 22 is fitted and fixed to the other pipe 12. An annular ridge portion 23 having a sheet-like ridge section from inner diameter sides 21i, 22i to outer diameter sides 21o, 22o of end faces opposite to each other, is integrally formed between the thick-wall portion 21 and the other thick-wall portion 22. An outer diameter of an apex portion 24 of the ridge portion 23 is approximately same as outer diameters of the thick-wall portions 21, 22, thus the axial bulging of the ridge portion 23 caused by internal pressure is controlled between the thick-wall portions 21, 22. A reinforcement wire 27 is buried along outer peripheral faces of both thick-wall portions 21, 22 and the ridge portion 23. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
