摘要 <p>There is provided a superconducting cable connection structure capable of suppressing buckling of a superconducting layer which is easily caused when the superconducting layer and an outer circumferential layer located outside the superconducting layer are relatively shifted in the longitudinal direction. The superconducting cable connection structure is formed at the end of the superconducting cable having a superconducting layer and an outer circumferential layer. The superconducting layer (conductive layer (30)) is connected to a connection member (connection sleeve (210)). Between the end of the connection member and the end of the outer circumferential layer (insulation layer (50)), the superconducting layer is covered by a fixing member (220). Since the fixing member pushes the superconducting layer, even if relative movement is caused between the outer circumferential layer located outside the superconducting layer and the superconducting layer, the superconducting layer in direct contact with the outer circumferential layer is not pushed in the longitudinal direction. Thus, it is possible to prevent buckling of the superconducting layer.</p>
