An arrangement for fixing a prosthesis (1), implant upper part (3) or epithesis (5) especially in human mouth or facial regions is such that the object (1, 3 or 5) is provided at the fixing zone in each case with a correspondingly formed notch (11) containing a suction pad (S) with a flexible part (7) interacting with a corresponding pre-treated counter surface such as a correspondingly cut tooth stump, implant or lower part of an implant.
