<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire further enhancing traveling performance. <P>SOLUTION: A large number of blocks 26 divided by central main grooves 20L, 20R extending in a tire circumferential direction, shoulder grooves 22L, 22R and a lug groove 24 crossing to these main grooves are formed on a tread part 16 of the pneumatic tire. Three sipes 30 along the lug groove 24 are formed on the block 26. The sipes 30C on both outer sides in the tire circumferential direction of the sipes 30 are closed sipes and the sipe positioned between the closed sipes 30C is an open sipe 30M. Sipe surfaces of the sipes 30C, 30M are zig-zag-like. The sipe depth of the sipes 30C, 30M is 1/2 or more of the depth of the main groove and the sipe width of the sipe 30C is 1/2 or mor of the block width of the block 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
