PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating machine that is reduced in the concentration of stress generated at a connecting conductor, and effectively prevented in the abnormal deformation of the connecting conductor. SOLUTION: The rotating machine comprises a rotor core 110, a field winding 120 arranged in a slot of the rotor core 110, and a rotor 100 having the connecting conductor 130 that connects the field windings. The connecting conductor 130 has a bent part 131 that is protrusively curved in the radial direction of the rotor 100 when viewed at a cross section orthogonal to the axial direction of the rotor 100. The rotating machine also comprises a connecting conductor deformation preventing member 150 that has a deformation preventing part 151. The deformation preventing part 151 is regulated in movement to the radial external peripheral side by the connecting conductor 130 at the radial external peripheral side of the rotor 100, and the tip 132b of the bent part 131 of the connecting conductor 130 is arranged at the deformation preventing part 151 so as to be capable of abutting thereon, when the rotor 100 is rotated.
