PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that image defects such as pseudo-contours occur, when tetrahedral interpolation is used for correction of color reproduction associated with color adjustment, because the surfaces of the tetrahedron satisfy boundary condition. SOLUTION: Pixel positions of digital image data are calculated and RGB values in the pixel positions are obtained (S801). The obtained RGB values are displayed in the RGB value display region (S802). L*a*b* values are calculated by the basis function and coefficient value of B-spline solid for color calculation (S803).
