PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin-impregnated sheet capable of being molded into a carbon fiber-reinforced plastic molding having carbon fibers with short fiber lengths appropriately dispersed therein, and the carbon fiber-reinforced plastic molding. SOLUTION: The manufacturing process of the resin-impregnated sheet made by impregnating carbon fibers having fiber lengths of 3-60 mm with a resin comprises the first step (S101 and S102) of adding a first thickener to an unhardened resin to cause preliminary thickening, the second step (S103 and S104) of adding a second thickener to the thickened resin and impregnating the carbon fibers with the resin and the third step (S105) of thickening the impregnated product obtained.
